3-axis CNC kit, mechanical parts

$420.00

This is an example of a long hub that sticks out nearly an inch. It is about 1.93″ diameter

long and short hub

Description

Everything you need to mount motors to all three axes of your mill/drill. You supply the motors and drive electronics and it is ready to go. Deceptively simple, these motors are not bolted solid to the machine but reside on the screw shaft instead. Units slide on in place of the handles with no modifications necessary.

Ball bearing for smooth turning. Needs NEMA23 motor, 76mm long

You need to measure the Z-axis fine feed shaft. It will be 12mm, 1/2″ or 13mm

If you want the X drive to be on the right end then it is a long hub

Hi, just ordered the full CNC kit for my Rong Fu mill-drill, but I haven’t seen anywhere to specify axis hub drive sizes. Will you contact me for this information?

Is there any sort of bearings between the gear/coupling asy and the plate it’s mounted in or does it just rub plastic to aluminum?

Yes there is a thin ball bearing with a 30mm id retained in the plate. It is lightly loaded with just the separation force of the gear teeth. Manual and motor forces go straight to the shaft.

It is metal except the big gear and that is very lightly loaded.

Do you know if this will work on the older Enco 91002 mill drills?

It should. I bought an Enco mill about 25 years ago and it worked fine.
